UX DESIGN & FRONT END DEVELOPMENT

GRANT IN AID

Grant In Aid was a tool built for the state of Delaware to handle an annual grant application process. The solution included a public facing website and an internal tool for handling incoming applications. The process was previously done on paper forms through the mail so the entire process was built from scratch. View the Grant In Aid website.

My Role

My role on this project was to review the current paper Grant process and design and new solution for a digital application process. I also would develop and manage the front end of the application through user acceptance testing and launch.

Application Review and Interviews

We started the project meeting with Delaware fiscal analysts to figure out how the Grant In Aid application process works. With feedback on pain points about the current process we started to review the current paper forms. We decided the solution would need a public facing site which we would build using Angular. They also needed an internal site for managing the processing on incoming application which we build using Microsoft CMS.
